Loyola-Chicago Freshman Julie Kenkel (TSC 86) has been selected as the Newcomer of the Year in the Horizon League and
honored on both the Second Team All-League and All-Newcomer teams. In 18 matches Kenkel has recorded a total of three goals,
two of those game winning, and one assist.

Oral Robert's University sophomore Gentry Detter (TSC 86) was selected as Mid Con Defensive Player of the Year. In
addition to Detter, freshman midfielder Emily Gagnon (TSC 86) was also selected to the Mid Con First Team.

Southwestern Oklahoma State University Freshman Kristin Metevelis (TSC 86) was selected to the Lone Star Conference
Honorable Mention team announced by the league office Sunday. Metevelis played in 15-of-18 games with nine starts.
She scored one goal and was one of SWOSU's top offensive threats.

consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA. Colwell was also selected to the second team of the All-Big 12 Team

Arkansas sophomore Carrie Dillsaver's (TSC 84) five shutouts in 2004 are a record for sophomore goalkeepers. She broke
the mark set by Keri Reifel in the fall of 1992. By virtue of Dillsaver's start against Alabama, she also set the mark for games started
as a sophomore. The other sophomore records, which Dillsaver broke, are shots faced (234) and perhaps the most impressive of all the
records goals against average (1.44). Dillsaver's GAA of 1.44 destroyed the mark set by Molly Myers in 1990 of 1.80.

Oklahoma junior Christy Kenkel (TSC 84) was selected to All-Big 12 Academic First Team for the second year in a row.
First-team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA. Kenkel was also selected to the
CoSIDA Academic All-District VI Second Team. Kenkel, a midfielder, is majoring in chemistry and has a 3.95 GPA.

Other Player Successes:

Over $2.1 Million in collegiate scholarships have been awarded to TSC players since 1992.

TSC has produced Oklahoma's only Parade High School All-Americans (3).

Clayton Treat (TSC 77B / Union High School), Eric Littlepage (TSC 79B / Jenks High School), Vonda Matthews (TSC 82G / Broken Arrow High School) and Nikki Baker (TSC 84G / Bixby High School) were named Gatorade High School Player Of The Year.

Three past players have been members of the US National Team/Pool (TSC 74B, TSC 77B, and TSC 80B).

Vonda Matthews (TSC 82G) was a member of the U16-18 US National Team/Pool.

Lauren MacIver (TSC 84G / Jenks High School) was named 2001/02 High School All-American.

Jenny Nichols TSC '86G - 2003 All-American, Jenks High School.

Emily Peterson '86G - 2003 Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year, Jenks Trojans State Champs 1999-2003, ODP Region III Pool 2000, Region III Team 2001 and 2003.
