A message from the 95 Boys....

At this year’s Team Christmas Party, the TSC 95 Boys collected roughly $200.00 from our team and other outside sources.  We decided that we wanted to try and help some child that was just having “A BAD DAY” and needed a few extra presents for Christmas.    As many know, some of the families on our team have gone thru an extremely tough time in the last year.

We have had 2 players who have lost their fathers, 1 player who lost his sister and another player who just finished up 3 months of radiation for a brain tumor.  We felt like we needed to do something for someone so through countless numbers of phone calls and emails we finally reached someone within the Oklahoma Family Network.

Her name is Amy White.  She is in charge of working with families that have special medical needs and matching them up with support families whom have gone thru similar health related issues along with providing these families the resources they need in order to cope with these ailments.  She spent hours trying to help us find a child that could use a few extra Christmas presents this year.  She directed us to the Children’s Hospital where we had the fortunate pleasure of getting to meet a unique little boy named William on Christmas Day.

William is 3 years old and was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.  He is a huge Sponge Bob and Elmo fan and loves trucks.  He will be at St. Francis Children’s hospital for approximately 2 months receiving treatment for his ailment.  In speaking with the father he said that the success rate on his treatment is about 95-98% that he will make a full recovery.  Please keep William in your thoughts and prayers as they go thru this difficult time.

Thank you to the 95 boys for helping us remember the important things in life.
